Do You Know

The church has been seeking revival for years.
Do you know what it sounds like?
Do you know how to find it?
Do you know how to recognize it?
Do you know what revival is?
Revival is found in the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit…but you have to quiet your own voice to hear Him.
Revival is found in the words written down long ago and sitting down long enough to read them.
Revival is realizing how small we are and how huge God really is.
Revival is found at the checkout lane when you choose to wait patiently instead of huffing and puffing in annoyance because your in a hurry.
Revival is found in a husband or wife looking for ways to help one another without being asked…by picking up socks, doing the dishes, taking out the garbage…and listening to the other.
Revival is found in adult or child who listens and responds to those in authority with respect.
Revival is found in smiling at the homeless person on the street, giving food to the hungry, clothes to the needy.
Revival is not holding on to a laundry list of wrongs by letting go of anger and forgiving.
Revival is not simply saying you want to be like Jesus.
Revival begins by seeking God.
Revival begins with you.
