There are a number of devotionals available in the market place. Handy little resources generally filled with a daily reading, prayer, and scripture reference. Often an ideal source of comfort or inspiration on a busy day.
Voices of the Faithful 2 is a lovely addition to the devotional genre. Filled with individual stories from Christian missionaries around the world, each day provides a short reading of encouragement and faith.
Created by Beth Moore and compiled by Kim P Davis, Voices of the Faithful 2 allows us to hear from individuals who have been called to foreign lands. Dealing with situations many of us will never experience in our faith walk. They bring us stories of hope, faith, and grace in the face of difficulty as they serve God. Each author speaking in a unique voice, with a story of encouragement for the church.
Voices of the Faithful 2 is a lovely devotional book which can be read at any point in the year and is a great source of inspiration and encouragement to the faithful.
